Start at the Finish Line

When looking at business strategy, I always try and determine the end game at the beginning of the process. The two fundamental questions to ask a business are "Why do we Exist" and "What is our End Game". So many businesses "just are", they fail to understand or answer these fundamentals. Without clarity over these then setting off on a strategic journey leaves plotting a course somewhat difficult.
